The STEMinds Eduponics IoT moisture sensor is a versatile, precise, and one of the best low-cost soil moisture sensors available on the market.
Designing IoT sensors is hard, and designing good IoT moisture sensors is even harder. During the 3 months of sensor development, we ensured that the IoT soil sensor we designed is precise, accurate, and gives consistent results. The soil sensor will work for long periods of time in various types of conditions without breaking a sweat.

In the market, there are mainly 2 types of sensors available for low price tags: capacitive and resistive IoT moisture sensors. Our custom moisture sensor works on the same principle as a capacitive sensor. This means the moisture sensor can be used continuously without the fear of corrosion.
Since version 1.0 of the Eduponics mini soil moisture sensor, we’ve made quite an improvement. Most notable one – Adding a 4P grove compatible interface.
